Indus River System Authority (Irsa) on Saturday released 91,719 cusecs water from various rim stations. According to Irsa, an overall water inflow from various reservoirs was recorded at 45,656 cusecs. Water level at Tarbela Dam recorded on Saturday was at 1416.70 feet. The present water level at the dam was 47 feet higher than the dead level of 1369 feet.
Water inflow at the dam was recorded at 20,400 cusecs while outflow was 55,000 cusecs. The water level at Mangla Dam was recorded at 1117.45 feet, which was 77 feet higher than the dead level of 1040 feet. Water inflow at the dam was recorded at 10,537 cusecs and the outflow at 22,000. The contribution of Kabul and Chenab was recorded at 6,740 cusecs and 7,979 cusecs, respectively.
