Prime Minister, Yousaf Raza Gilani, will leave for Hong Kong on Sunday (tomorrow) on a five-day official visit to attend two-day Asia meeting of Clinton Global Initiative (CGI). The Clinton Global Initiative (CGI) meeting, starting from December 2, will provide an opportunity to the Asia's leaders to join hands to cope with emerging challenges of the region, including education, energy and climate change and public health.
In addition, Gilani will also hold bilateral meetings with the Chief Executive of Hong Kong, Donald Tsang, and other world leaders on the sidelines of the conference. The Asian businessmen and government leaders will discuss and set the priorities in order to strengthen stability in the context of growth and globalisation. Clinton established the Clinton Global Initiative in 2005 to turn ideas into action and to help the world move beyond the current state of globalisation to a more integrated global community of shared benefits, responsibilities and values.
