Law Minister, Rana Sanaullah and deputy speaker, Punjab Assembly, Rana Mashood on Saturday handed over a cheque of 12.5 million rupees to Lahore High Court Bar Association (LHCBA). The cheque was given to Bar President, Anwar Kamal, in the presence of other bar office bearers, in a simple ceremony.
The bar has been granted under Bar Associations funds from which Rs 10 million will be fixed in the account of the bar. Rana Sanaullah said that the funds are the basic right of bar associations and the Punjab government was evolving a mechanism for smooth provision of such funds to the bars.
