Seminar on Pak-China relations in Beijing on December 12

The Pakistan Studies Centre here will hold a seminar on Pakistan-China relations. The seminar will be held at the centre's premises at the Prestigious Peking University. The moot on 'Pakistan-China contemporary relations and their future' will be held on December 12.
Meanwhile, the head of Pakistan Studies Centre, Professor Thang Men Sheng organised a gathering for Urdu speaking and Urdu knowing Chinese belonging to different walks of life. The interaction was largely participated by faculty and students of Peking University, media persons, Pakistan's Ambassador to China, Masood Khan and senior officials of Pakistan embassy.
Speaking on the occasion, the Ambassador said that the Centre is a platform to bring together the friends of Urdu and Pakistan. 'These friends are integrated like a family,' he said in his opening remarks. Further, Khan expressed thanks to Professor Thang for his efforts for the establishment of Pakistan Studies Centre at the impressive Peking University and assured full supports from Pakistan Embassy as well as from his Government.
'Pakistan-China relations are very strong and are poised to become even stronger. Love and passion for Urdu among our Chinese friends is one of the strongest points of these relations, Ambassador Masood said. A number of Chinese broadcasters from China Radio International, former Chinese diplomats, who had served in various capacities in Pakistan as well as academicians from different walks of life, attended the gathering.
