'Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) Director Marketing Salahuddin is committed to provide quality service to its valued customers. He stated this while addressing a Cargo Performance Award 2007 ceremony, which organised by PIA, disclosed a PIA spokesperson.
He further stated that in order to be competitive in the international market, expansion in the operational areas is always productive and cost effective for maximisation of revenues within available resources. "In view of this, PIA has undertaken policy of expansion in emerging market of Europe and Far East and is considering expansion of its operation to Spain in Europe and Guangzhou, China, in Far East," he added.
PIA Cargo Services General Manager Mamoon Rashid said PIA has floated Commercial Rebated Cargo (CRC) rates on all major sectors, despite of increase in cargo rates by IATA. He also said the cargo agents are considered as partners of the national flag carrier.
