Fatheha Khwani on the first death anniversary of the late Chairperson, Pakistan People's Party (PPP), Benazir Bhutto was held at the Governors House on Monday. The Governor Punjab, Salman Tasser, President, the PPP Punjab, Rana Aftab Ahmed Khan, Senior Provincial Minister, Raja Riaz Ahmed and a large number of party activists and women workers attended the ceremony.
Talking to newsmen, the Senior Provincial Minister, Raja Riaz said, 'We will fulfil the mission of Benazir Bhutto under the leadership of the President, Asif Ali Zardari.' He also said that the PPP leadership always sacrificed for the democracy and the democracy came in the country due to Benazir's sacrifice.
Further, Raja Riaz said that the United Nation was investigating Benazir's assassination and action will be taken against the responsible persons after receiving the report. On the question of Indian attack on Pakistan, he said that whole nation, army and political leadership stand united against any external threat.
