Bahria University, Karachi has launched first Journal of Information & Communication Technology (ICT) on Monday. Engineer Abul Kalam, Vice Chancellor NED University of Engineering and Technology, who was also the chief guest of the launching ceremony, said that launching country's first Journal of Information & Communication Technology was a great leap by Bahria University towards promoting the research in the field of Information & Communication Technology in Pakistan.
He said academics in Pakistan need to invest time and money on promoting the research culture so that our industries can benefit from it. Speaking on the occasion, Director Bahria University Karachi Campus Captain Ashfaq Agha (Rtd) said that Bahria University has received tremendous response in terms of research papers from across the globe. Rector Bahria University Vice Admiral Rtd Farooq Rashid congratulated the editorial team of the journal and said that it was impossible without their unmatchable contributions.-PR
