Fehmida extends greetings to Christian community

Speaker National Assembly Dr Fehmida Mirza has extended heartiest greetings to the Christian community on the auspicious occasion of Christmas. She said that Jesus Christ was ordained by Almighty Allah to preach love, peace, tolerance and brotherhood.
He inculcated spiritual valves among his followers to work for the divine pleasure. The Muslims deeply revere Prophet Jesus Christ as one of the great messengers of Almighty Allah. Dr Fehmida Mirza, on this happy occasion, reiterated the pledge of the government to fully safeguard the rights and privileges enjoyed by all minorities according to the constitution of Pakistan and guiding principles of the Father of Nation.
She said that she would avail this opportunity to extend her appreciation to our Christian brethren for their deep sense of patriotism and dedicated services for the progress and prosperity of the country. Faisal Karim Kundi, Deputy Speaker National Assembly also extended warm greetings to his fellow Christian colleagues on Christmas. He termed the Christmas as an occasion, which reminds us of our commitment to work hard for the welfare and betterment of the humanity.-PR
