The Election Committee of Peshawar Press Club (PPC) on Wednesday released final list of candidates for the annual elections scheduled for December 29. According to the list, a one-on-one contest is expected between Shamim Shahid of the Daily Nation and sitting president, M Riaz of Nawa-i-Waqt.
Two important posts of the offices of joint secretary and finance secretary have been clinched unopposed by Aneela Shaheen of Dunya TV and Shahabuddin of Aaj TV.
