Governor Sindh cuts Xmas cake

Sindh Governor, Dr Ishrat-ul-Ibad has said that non-Muslims here are not considered minorities but Pakistanis and this is the reason that they enjoy equal opportunities to progress in every field. He was addressing a gathering of members of Christian community after cutting a Xmas cake at Governor House here on Wednesday.
He said the Christians' role in the development of Pakistan has been very important. The Governor emphasised that Pakistan can be made prosperous, stronger, and developed by pursuing the Quaid's golden principles of Faith, Unity and Discipline.
He pointed out that people belonging to Christian community are present in every field and playing their role in a nicely manner. "All those living in Pakistan are Pakistanis and they all think about Pakistan," he said and called for promoting brotherhood and cohesion among people. "Today we pledge that we will not hesitate to make any sacrifice at any stage for the progress of Pakistan and elation of its prestigious at international level."
