Atlas Bank donates Rs 1.69 million for Balochistan quake relief works

The staff of Atlas Bank Limited has donated an amount of over Rs 1.69 million to go towards Balochistan earthquake relief effort. This donation was collected to help the families still suffering from the after-effects of earthquake. Hundreds are still exposed to the extreme cold weather without permanent shelter and basic amenities.
Relief efforts are going on and this donation is to go directly to the aid of the affected families. The Chief Executive, Atlas Bank Limited, Aziz Rajkotwala presented a cheque to Pakistan Red Crescent Society, Sindh. The Chairman, Pakistan Red Crescent Society, Sindh Sohail Wajahat Siddiqui accepted the cheque on behalf of his organisation.
Expressing his views on the occasion, Rajkotwala, said the employees of the bank were deeply affected by this national tragedy. 'Our sympathies lie with the affected families and although some time has passed since the earthquake, the victims are still in our prayers and we have not forgotten the hardship they continue to face. We have collected this small token of support to express solidarity and provide help to the victims, who deserve.-PR
