Criminals' gang busted

Anti Vehicle Lifting Staff in Lahore have busted a gang arrested three criminals involved in a number of incidents of car stealing and seized four stolen cars from them. The Capital City Police Officer (CCPO), Muhammad Pervez Rathore directed the SP CRO, Jahanzaib Nazir Khan to take effective measures against rising incidents of car lifting.
A special squad was constituted under the supervision of DSP, Anti Vehicles Lifting Staff, Ijaz Shafi Dogar which arrested three members of this notorious gang on a tip-off. During a preliminary interrogation, the arrested criminals confessed to commuting a number of crimes. They were identified as ringleader, Muhammad Tariq, Khalil Ahmed and Muhammad Shahzad. Further investigation was underway, police sources said.
