Teams formed to probe into murder of Waheed, family in Gilgit

Taking serious notice of director agriculture Northern Areas, Abdul Waheed's murder along-with his four family members in Gilgit on Friday, Rahman Malik, advisor to the Prime Minister on Interior has constituted a joint investigation team to probe into the murder.
Rehman Malik on Monday directed the team to make immediate efforts to nab the culprits involved into the heinous act of crime and submit the report within a week. Meanwhile, Rehman Malik has announced an award of Rs 50,000 for the head constable of Islamabad Police, who received bullet in an attempt to intercept the criminals at Faizabad police picket.
Malik lauded the valour of the police official, saying that such brave police officials will surely defeat the outlaws and terrorists. He directed the Inspector General of Police Syed Asghar Raza Gardezi to pursue the legal action against the nabbed criminals.
