Punjab Chief Minister, Mian Shahbaz Sharif underwent a medical check up at Ittefaq Hospital after feeling suffocated and uncomfortable at a national seminar at Aiwan-e-Iqbal on Monday. The news brought a wave of worries to the Sharif family, who rushed to the Hospital to see the CM.
According to details, Shahbaz was chairing a national seminar on 'Priorities of National Security' organised by Khawaja Muhammad Rafiq Shaheed Foundation in connection with the 36th death anniversary of Khawaja Muhammad Rafiq Shaheed. During the seminar, Shahbaz left the main hall to offer Asar prayer. After offering prayer, he complained of chest pain and was immediately taken to Ittefaq hospital. MPA Zaeem Qadri also accompanied the CM to the hospital.
The doctors at Ittefaq Hospital took ECG test of Shahbaz, which according to the sources was found 'ok'. Official sources said that doctors described the CM's condition as satisfactory and he was completely out of danger.
