Pakistani children invited to take part in Bangladesh art competition

Bangladesh Children's Academy, an organisation under the Ministry of Women and Children Affairs of Bangladesh has invited Pakistani students to take part in the Fifth International Children-Art Biennial Bangladesh 2009.
The subject of the art competition is open while there will be six age groups up to 18 years of age and each applicant send three entries in maximum, said officials of Pakistan National Council of the Arts (PNCA) here on Tuesday while talking to media persons. The medium for the art competition is watercolour, poster colour, pastels, collage and mixed media.
The intending children can send their paintings directly to the Director, Bangladesh Shishu Academy, by March 15 whereas PNCA is also collecting the works of students. The winners along with their guardians would be invited at the grand prize ceremony to be held in Dhaka, Bangladesh and there will be an exhibition with the paintings of the children to be participated around the globe in May 2009 in Dhaka. The prizes for the competition are one Grand Prix, one Gold and three Silver medals for each group and ten Honourable Mentions for each group.
