District officer (DO) Community Organisation and a local parliamentarian on Friday inspected the routes of the mourning processions to be taken out on the Yaum-e-Ashoor of Muharram. DO Jamil Hashmi and MNA Jamshed Dasti also visited the main Imambargahs.
Custodian of the Batti Hussainabad Imambargah and general secretary of Millat Jafaria of the district, Ghazanfar Abbas Naqvi informed them that the TMA had not as yet repaired the streetlights. They assured him that all necessary arrangements would be in place soon so that mourners faced no difficulty during the Ashura.
