05 Jan, 2009

Pakistan Muslim League-Q (PML-Q) President Chaudhry Shujaat Hussein on Sunday said that his party is ready to work with all the parties for the country's solidarity and integrity as well as eradication of lawlessness, price hike, load shedding and foreign aggression.
Shujaat, however, said that they would never finish identity of their party, which is registered with Election Commission as Pakistan Muslim League while N-League is one of the factions of Pakistan Muslim League. He maintained that N-League has differences with People's Party due to personal reasons and we don't want to become a party in this dispute.
The PML-Q President further said that unity is a good thing but it must be looked into that for which purpose it would be made. 'If unity is required for solidarity and integrity of the country and for putting an end to lawlessness, poverty, foreign aggression and load shedding, we are ready to work with all the political parties', he added.
Shujaat further said if the unity is aimed at saving the Punjab Government, it is another thing. If they want unity for the fulfilment of promises made with Nawaz Sharif in London and Dubai, it would be better to be happy where they were at present, he said. He said that those who were taunting them for supporting a dictator should not forget that they got maturity during 11-year rule of army rulers.
