Naheed urges PPP to implement charter of democracy

Pakistan People's Party (PPP) leader and close associate of late Benazir Bhutto, Naheed Khan, has urged the PPP leadership to implement and follow the Charter of Democracy (CoD). Addressing a press conference here she said that by implementing and acting upon the CoD the government could get rid the country of the prevailing crises.
She said that in the shape CoD Benazir Bhutto had given a full charter for the establishment of democracy in the country. Naheed said by respecting the mandate of other parties the country could be saved from political instability.
Senator Safdar Abassi on the occasion said that instead of waiting for UN Inquiry Commission to probe into Benazir Bhutto murder, the government should think about the alternate measures.
He said the action of Governor of Punjab were damaging the reputation of PPP. He said PPP had a long history of sacrifices for the country as well as the people, which would not let its graph go down.
