Professor Zafar Ullah Chaudhry re-elected as CPSP president

Professor Zafar Ullah Chaudhry has been re-elected as President of the College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan (CPSP). He was re-elected in the council meeting of the CPSP in which all 20 members of the council participated. With his re-election, Professor Zafar completed his hat trick of unopposed election.
The other office bearers include Senior Vice President, Professor Abdullah Jan Jaffer, Vice President, Professor M Daud Khan and Treasurer, Professor Ghulam Asghar Channa. It may be mentioned that the CPSP is providing more than 85percent specialist doctors to the country and 16,000 of its specialists are serving throughout the country in civil, Army and private Institutions.
In the tenure of present council, structured training, effective monitoring, transparent evaluation system and research of international standard were further strengthened. After the re-election, Professor Chaudhry thanked the council members and reassured that the CPSP through its Residency Programme will impart high quality training to all the postgraduate residents being trained at accredited intuitions in Civil, Army and private sector.
