Six envoys present credentials to Zardari

Ambassadors-designate of Netherlands, Denmark, Japan, Egypt, Yemen and Russian Federation presented their credentials to President Asif Ali Zardari at Aiwan-e-Sadr on Monday. The envoys called on the President separately and presented their credentials. They also discussed with him bilateral matters and the need to further strengthen ties between their respective countries.
Earlier, upon arrival of Ambassador-designates at the Aiwan-e-Sadr, the national anthems of Pakistan and the respective countries were played. The envoys were presented guard of honour by a smartly turned out contingent of Pakistan Army. They inspected the guard of honour and took salute. The ambassadors included Tjeerd Feico de Zwaan of Netherlands, Anders Christian Hougaard of Denmark, Chihiro Atsumi of Japan, Magdy Mahmoud Helmy Amer of Egypt, Abdo Ali Abdul Rahman of Yemen and Andrey Sergeerich Budnik of Russian Federation.
