The National Commission for Justice and Peace (NCJP) strongly condemned the attack on religious minorities especially Christians by Hindu fundamentalists in India.
Addressing a Press Conference, Bishop Joseph Coutts accompanied by Father Nisar Barkat (Director-NCJP), Father Aftab James Paul and Father Bonnie Mendes termed the violence and dominance of influential countries over third world countries as terrorism in all parts of the world, and demanded the end of interference in territory of Iraq, Afghanistan and Palestine by American and Nato forces and Israel. They appealed to the O.I.C. that it should raise voice against the tyranny in Islamic world, and also appealed to the United Nations that it should play a vital role for ensuring peace in all regions of the world.
