APHC holds demonstration in front of UN observers' office

The All Parties Hurriyet Conference Azad Jammu and Kashmir Chapter, held a protest demonstration and sit-in in front of United Nations Observers' Office here on Monday, on the occasion of "self-determination Day", commemorating the UN resolution of January 05, 1949, which promised the right to the people of Kashmir.
Members of APHC-AJK chapter and leaders of political parties were present on the occasion. Addressing the demonstrators the speakers demanded the UN to implement its resolution on Kashmir, KMS reported. They also urged the world body to impress upon India to repeal all the draconian laws and release the illegally detained Kashmiris.
They also pledged to continue the liberation struggle till its logical conclusion. Later, the APHC-AJK Convenor, Syed Yousaf Naseem presented a memorandum at the UN office, asking the UN Secretary General, Ban Ki-Moon to fulfil pledges made with Kashmiris. Prominent among those who participated in the demonstration included Muhammad Ashraf Saraf, Mehmood Ahmed Saghar, Abdul Majeed Malik, Altaf Ahmed Wani, Dr Abdul Aala, Nisar Ahmed and Tufail Ahmed Butt.
