Health facilities for postal employees to be ensured: minister

Federal Minister for Postal Services, Mir Israr Ullah Zehri has said that human resources are the assets of an organisation and Postal Services has dedicated professional workforce, so it is need of the hour to better facilitate the staff.
The Minister said that government is committed to provide basic facilities to the people and it has been decided that health facilities for the postal employees will be ensured.
He said this while talking to a high level meeting in the ministry. In this regard, a new hospital will be established in District Khuzdar for the Postal employees and the Postal Employees Hospital at Karachi will soon be operational. Both the facilities will provide services not only for the employees of Pakistan Post but also to general public. The charges for postal employees will be subsidised by the Postal department officials and the public will be charged on nominal rates.-PR
