Ajmal's custody to police extended

The lone surviving gunman from the deadly attacks on Mumbai was Tuesday remanded in custody for a further two weeks, a senior police official told AFP. A judge granted a request to hold Mohammed Ajmal Amir Iman for questioning during a brief hearing in the city, said the officer in charge of the investigation, crime branch chief Rakesh Maria. "We have got his custody up to January 19," he said.
