LAHORE: Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is planning to re-schedule the World XI tour of Pakistan that was earlier confirmed by the International Cricket Council (ICC).
According to Dunya News, the board wants to ensure the inclusion of prominent cricketers for across the globe due to which it is trying to re-manage the tour dates in the start of September.
The team will play three international Twenty20s in Lahore.
Sarfraz Ahmed will lead Pakistan in the shortest format whereas World XI will be captained by Sri Lankan legend Mahela Jayawardene.
Pakistan had managed to arrange the final match of Pakistan Super League (PSL) in Lahore and a home series with Zimbabwe in 2015.
