Court allows judicial allowance to FST employees

The Lahore High Court responding to a petition of private secretary to the Federal Service Tribunal (FST), Shah Jahan Khan, directed the federal government to pay 20 percent of the judicial allowance to FST employees with all consequential benefits, as was granted to the employees of the Supreme Court and all the High Courts.
The LHC directed the federal government to pay this allowance positively within a period of two months to the petitioner and all employees of the FST at the principal seat as well as camp. The Petitioner pleaded that all the employees of the Provincial High Courts, Federal Shariat Court, Attorney General of Pakistan and Advocate General offices were granted this allowance, but he along with his colleagues were denied of this right.
