Chief Justice Supreme Court constitutes three benches for next week

The Chief Justice of Pakistan has constituted three benches at the Principal seat to hear a number of cases in the next week starting from January 12. The first bench comprising Chief Justice Abdul Hameed Dogar, Justice Ijaz-ul-Hassan and Justice Chaudhry Ejaz Yousaf.
Second bench consists of Justice Mian Shakirullah Jan, Justice M Javed Buttar and Justice Mohammad Qaim Jan Khan. The third bench comprising Justice Moosa K Leghari, Justice Syed Sakhi Hussain Bukhari and Justice Sheikh Hakim Ali. These three benches will hear cases at the Principal Seat.
According to cause lists, no application for adjournment through fax would be placed before the Court. If the counsel is unable to appear for any reason, the Advocate-on-Record will be required to argue the case. No adjournment on any ground will be granted.
