Pakistan taking steps to ease Indo-Pak tension: MNA

PPP MNA Fouzia Wahab has said that Pakistan was a peaceful country and it wants peace in the region adding that terrorists have no country or nationality. Pakistan is ready to extend any kind of co-operation to India. Talking to Aaj TV, she said some elements want to achieve their nefarious designs by destabilising the region.
"Pakistan does not want war", she said. She said that Pakistan itself is the biggest victim of terrorism, "We are committed to fighting and eliminating the terrorism from the region". Fouzia reiterated the government's resolve that it would never allow terrorists to use its soil for their activities and cleared the negative propaganda against the country and stated that the state of Pakistan is never involved in any kind of terrorist activities.
She said war neither suits Pakistan nor India but it suits war industry and urged both the countries to deal with the situation in a very careful manner. To a query Fouzia said that India only want to defame Pakistan at international level. "They are trying to make the issue multilateral for the same reason. There is a need to provide solid information to proceed against an individual", she added.
To another question PPP leader said that "We should make our utmost effort to avoid it and both the countries will suffer in case of any conflict". She said every individual in the society is duty bound to play his role whatsoever in this national cause so that the country could be put on the path to progress and prosperity.
