US MIDDAY: corn down

July corn futures on the Chicago Board of Trade fell the daily limit of 30 cents per bushel to $4.01-1/2 per bushel early on Monday, after the release of bearish USDA corn stocks data, traders said. At 9:50 am CST (1550 GMT), CBOT corn was down 4-3/4 to 29-1/2 cents per bushel, with March down 29 at $3.81-3/4 per bushel.
