Ambassador of Argentine to Pakistan, Rodolfo Martin Saravia on Wednesday called on Advisor to Prime Minister on Petroleum and Natural Resources, Dr Asim Hussain and discussed bilateral relations, economic collaboration and investment opportunities in oil & gas and energy sector of Pakistan.
Dr Asim said that Pakistan has close relations with Argentina and is desirous of expanding bilateral ties in all sectors. He said that oil & gas sector has immense potential and investors are getting elevated returns due to an incentive-based liberal policy. He invited Argentinean investment in the energy sector and guaranteed his full support and backing to investors.
The ambassador said Argentinean companies are keen to invest in oil & gas exploration in Pakistan. They discussed possibilities of joint venture with Pakistani companies. The ambassador also showed interest in installing big CNG stations in various cities of Pakistan specifically meant for filling buses in the country.-PR
