Leading Cardiologist Professor Dr Ashfaq Ahmed Khan, elder brother of Provincial Secretary Health Anwar Ahmed Khan, has died on Friday. His funeral prayer was held in Khalid Mosque, Cavalry Ground.
Besides the relatives of the late, high-ranking former and in-service officers, elected representatives, prominent personalities of health sector, representatives of media and a larger number of people belonging to different walks of life attended the nimaz-e-jinaza. Quran Khawani for the eternal peace of the departed soul would be held on Sunday after Zohr prayers at Khalid Masjid Cavalry Ground, Lahore.
