Bears strengthened their positions at the Islamabad Stock Exchange (ISE) on Friday where selling pressure intensified in hot favourites amid decrease in index. ISE-10 Index showed a decrease of 63.11 points from 1,197.46 to 1,134.35 points.
The overall turnover amounted to 934,882 shares as compared to previous volume of 1,641,241 shares. Total 117 companies participated in buying and selling activity. Majority of stocks, 107, closed in negative territory, and 10 closed in positive territory. The turnover of NIB Bank was 164,000 shares. The volume of Bosicor Pakistan was 129,000 shares. The turnover of Pakistan Cement was 110,000 shares.
