Bangladesh launches new tender for 100,000 tonnes of wheat

Bangladesh's government has issued a new international tender to purchase 100,000 tonnes of any origin wheat, European traders said on Friday. The tender will close on March 2. Shipment was required 60 days after contract signing.
Bangladesh has regularly issued tenders as part of a target to import 800,000 tonnes of wheat in the fiscal year to the end of June 2009 to boost emergency food stocks. A previous tender is underway for the same volume of wheat and will close on January 19.
