Government urged to resume work on Rescue 1122 project

District President Pakistan Human Rights Foundation has called upon the government to resume work on the Rescue 1122 project. Talking to journalists here on Monday, Liaqat Khan Leghari said that the project is vital to provide succour to people in distress or in any emergency, and urged the need for establishing a Rescue 1122 set-up at the district headquarters Muzaffargarh.
He urged the Chief Minister Punjab to take notice of the suspension of this important project. Tehsil president of the Foundation, Umar Daraz, said that the project was started in Fayyaz Park but was later suspended due to unknown reasons, adding that the DCO should ensure that work on the public welfare project is resumed at the earliest.
