War on terror: Kazmi hopes for change in strategy under Obama administration

Pinning his expectations with the new UN administration under President Barrack Obama, Minister for Religious Affairs Hamid Saeed Kazmi said: "We are hoping to see a radical change in the way we are fighting the war against terrorism."
The minister made these remarks while speaking in a PTV programme "Good Morning" on Tuesday. Kazmi said in his opinion Obama could pay more attention to human rights, especially freedom of expression and association. He said, "Obama is going to give us a lot of inspiration and courage to bring change to Uganda." To a question he urged India to respond positively to the Pakistan's offer of a joint investigation into the Mumbai attacks.
