The Swiss franc was slightly weaker against the dollar and euro on Wednesday as traders became more willing to take on riskier positions, but this was likely to be limited due to worries about the global economy. "Despite ongoing financial market concerns, the strengthening of the US dollar versus European currencies including the Swiss franc appears almost a constant," said UBS analyst Reto Huenerwadel.
The franc was 0.3 percent weaker against the dollar.
