Cheaper roti will be available to masses in future: chief minister

Chief Minister of Punjab Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif here on Thursday said that under a broader strategy availability of cheaper roti would be available to masses in future. He said this provision is guaranteed to people affected by hunger and poverty, who were thriving on dal, vegetable and onion.
He asked for arranging tandoor committees at mohalla level. He said that MPA's would be responsible for these committees in their areas. He said besides green color of the flour bag and increasing weight of the bag, provision of atta at the tandoor should be arranged.
He was addressing a meeting in which MNA Mian Marghoob Ahmad, MPAs Khawaja Imran Nazeer, Amir Saeed Ansari and others participated. The Chief Minister averred that tandoors catering for provision of cheap roti should be established in factory areas and under developed areas.
In order to stop the pilferage of atta, he on the occasion the bags to be colored green on the occasion. He also on the occasion gave instructions to ascertain rate of khameri roti. The Chief Minister instructed inspection committees to be affective on the weight and supply of the cheap rotis in the province.
