Divisional Commissioner Faisalabad Zahid Saeed has directed concerned officers to finalise the estimates of cost of identified development projects without further delay so that development process could be initiated and completed within stipulated time and people be provided basic facilities.
He issued the instruction while chairing a meeting held here on Friday at Commissioner's Office, during which the pace of implantation of development projects in Faisalabad, Jhang and T. T. Singh districts was reviewed.
The Commissioner directed that the transparent estimates of the uplift projects should be ensured and needs of the local population regarding basic amenities should also kept in view while carrying out the exercise of development process so that the wastage of funds could be avoided.
