Indus River System Authority (Irsa) on Friday released 40,828 cusecs water from various rim stations. According to Irsa, an overall water inflow from various reservoirs recorded was 50,449 cusecs. Water level at Tarbela Dam recorded was at 1422.72 feet. The present water level at the dam was 53.72 feet higher than the dead level of 1,369 feet.
Water inflow at the dam was recorded at 18,200 cusecs while outflow was 20,000 cusecs. The water level at Mangla Dam was recorded at 1119.40 feet, which was 79.40 feet higher than the dead level of 1,040 feet. Water inflow at the dam was recorded at 11,421 cusecs. The contribution of Kabul and Chenab was recorded at 11,700 cusecs and 9,128 cusecs, respectively.
