Pakistani doctors reach Gaza

A team of 10 doctors, mostly Pakistanis equipped with medicine, surgical instruments and other necessary items, has reached Gaza in the wee hours of Sunday to provide modern medical facilities to devastated Palestinians.
Dr Saeed Akhtar, a doctor currently associated with Shifa International Hospital, Islamabad told Geo News that Islamic Medical Association of North America planned their medical trip. The team includes two Pakistani doctors, while other eight doctors belong to North America whereas, majority of them are of Pakistani origin.
Further, he said that they managed to reach Gaza after enduring great difficulties were waiting for two days on Egyptian border. The team would provide all possible medical helps to the suffering Palestinians.
