Four persons died and two received injuries as a result of exchange of fire between two rival groups having dispute over a piece of land in Kaki sub-division of Bannu district here on Sunday. According to police, two relatives, Malik Ghaffar and Malik Amin had dispute over a piece of land. Both the group members had also got reconciliation over the disputed land from a jirga.
However on Sunday both the group members came across each other and started firing as a result of which four persons died and two received injuries. The deceased are identified as Dr Rauf son of Amir Jan, Ashrafullah son of Rauf, Hikmat Yar son of Malik Ghaffar and Shahid Ullah. The injured were rushed to district headquarters hospital for treatment.
