Partly cloudy weather forecast for Punjab

The local meteorological office on Sunday forecast partly cloudy weather for Punjab metropolis during next 24 hours. Weather pundits said that yesterday's trough of westerly wave now lies over extreme northern parts of the country and is likely to move in the north-east direction.
They said that scattered thunderstorm and rain is expected over upper NWFP, Northern Areas, Kashmir and north of Punjab during next 24 hours.
According to local Met Office report, minimum temperature in the metropolitan city recorded at 10.8 degree celsius and maximum 21.2, while relative humidity remained at 83 percent in the morning and 70 percent in the evening.
Minimum temperature in other cities of Punjab recorded at D.G.Khan 14.4 degree celsius, Jhelum 9.8, Bahawalpur 11.4,
Khanpur 10.7, Sialkot 10.5, Multan 13.2, Sargodha 12.5, Okara 11.5, Rahim Yar Khan 10.3, Murree 3.5, Faisalabad 8.9, Sahiwal 10.4, Mandi Bahauddin 10.5, Bahawalnagar 14, Mianwali 10.9, Kamra 5.9 and Jhang 9.8.
While rain in various cities of the province recorded at Sialkot and Murree 4 millimetres each, D.G.Khan, Mandi Bahauddin and Jehlum 3mm each, and Lahore, Faisalabad, Jhang and Toba Tek Singh received trace (below one millimetre rain).
