Free judiciary vital to country's sovereignty

'No country could protect its independence and sovereignty in a situation when its people and judiciary are denied legitimate freedom.' The Senior Vice President, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), Makhdoom Javed Hashmi said.
The dishonest politics is a threat not only to our political institution but also to the democratic system, he said while talking to a press conference at Multan Press Club on Sunday night. Hashmi warned the President, Asif Zardari and the Prime Minister, Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani that their closing would not be different from the former ministers and presidents.
He said that the agenda to shackle the country's constitution and judiciary is not of Zardari but of the USA just to show the entire world that justice too, is hanged in Pakistan. To a question, he said that the decisions taken by a single person couldn't be true always therefore Zardari should stop enacting the politics of one-man show.
Further, he said that as the military dictators caused irreparable loss to the country, there should be symbolic hanging of previous dictators like Ayub Khan, Yayha Khan and Zia-ul-Haq and law should hang Pervez Musharraf.
