Fehmida, Kundi condemn killing of Yousfi

Dr Fehmida Mirza, Speaker and Faisal Karim Kundi, Deputy Speaker, National Assembly Monday strongly condemned the assassination of Ali Hussain Yousfi, Leader of Hazara Democratic Party by the unknown assailants in Quetta on Monday.
In their separate messages, the Speaker and Deputy Speaker said that it was a barbaric act of terrorism, which reflect the inhuman and callous nature of perpetrators. Fehmida and Kundi said that they were extremely grieved over the tragic killing of Ali Hussain Yousfi.
They called upon the law enforcement agencies to apprehended the culprits and bring them to justice. They also appealed to the general public to remain calm and avoid destruction of public and private property. They prayed solace for the departed soul and God Almighty may give courage to the bereaved family to bear the irreparable loss with equanimity.
The Speaker and Deputy Speaker also condoled the death of eminent archaeologist and historian, Professor Ahmed Hussain Dani. In their separate messages to the bereaved family, the Speaker and Deputy Speaker paid rich tribute to Professor Ahmed Hussain Dani for his services towards the preservation of archaeological heritage in the country.-PR
