28 Jan, 2009

NWFP Governor Owais Ahmed Ghani said on Tuesday that restoration of complete peace in the entire region is subject to complete normalisation of the situation in Afghanistan. He was talking to an eight-member delegation, comprising office bearers of Khidmat Khalq Foundation Balochistan; a Quetta based charity organisation, which called on the Governor, Owais Ahmed Ghani at Governor House.
The delegation was led by Naimatullah Zaheer, Chairman and Shahzad Syed, General Secretary of the organisation. Referring to various points, the Governor particularly mentioned the ongoing efforts for normalising the situation in certain affected areas and said we are successfully heading forward.
The Governor welcomed the delegation and appreciated the services of the foundation. He said the law and order problems are the common factors in both the provinces as well as Fata, which in fact are the off shoots of the developments taking place from time to time in Afghanistan over the last thirty years, said a official statement.
Meanwhile, the members of the delegation apprised the Governor about the working of their organisation and said that apart from Balochistan, they are also serving the people in other parts of the country as well.
