Foreign Office said on Wednesday that Pakistan and the United States had no understanding on predator attacks. In response to the statement of US Secretary of Defence Robert Gate on US drone attacks inside Pakistan's territory, spokesman Mohammad Sadiq ruled out any understanding between Pakistan and the United States on predator attacks.
"We want closer co-operation at the operational level to deal with militancy. This cooperation is part of a broader cooperation to bring peace, stability and eliminating extremism," the spokesman added. About al Qaida, the spokesman said that Pakistan had done more than any other country. "We look forward to working closely with the new US Administration on all issues, including in the fight against terrorism," he added.
