The Divisional Commissioner, Zahid Saeed has directed the officers of Revenue department to ensure on spot inspection for speedy disposal of revenue cases and fulfil all the requirements of offering quick justice. He issued these directives while presiding over a meeting of Revenue Officers of Faisalabad Division.
The DC further directed that no stone should left unturned to achieve the recovery target of the government's dues and 100 percent recovery should be ensured by taking action against the defaulters without any discrimination. Further, he urged quick disposal of under trial revenue cases without further delay, as their performance in this regard would be reviewed in the next meeting.
'Priority should be given to the recovery of the arrears and dues and the performance of the staff should be monitored on daily basis,' he stated. Faisalabad DC stressed that directory comprising lauded the successful anti-encroachment campaign launched by the revenue officers throughout the division and asked to continue it the details of the state land, should be updated immediately. He till achieving the desired results as per directives of Punjab Government in the larger public interest.
The DC during the meeting, discussed matters relating to the mutations, jamabandi and inspection and reviewed individual performance of each Deputy District Officer Revenue of the Division. The DCOs of Faisalabad, Jhang and T T Singh, Saeed Wahlah, Asad Islam Mahni, Chawdhry Ashraf, Additional Commissioner Revenue, Mahr Shaftaqullah Mushtaq were also present in the meeting.
