President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani on Saturday expressed their deep sorrow and grief over the murder of former Vice President of Pakistan People's Party (PPP) Malik Imtiaz Shahid in Lahore.
In separate messages to the family of the deceased, the President and Prime Minister condemned the murder of late Imtiaz Shahid and directed the provincial authorities to investigate the matter and submit a report. The President and the Prime Minister lauded the services of Imtiaz Shahid for strengthening the party and cause of democracy.
