Train derailed near Khanewal on Saturday morning resulting in 21 passengers getting injured. According to details, Charsada Express was on its way to Karachi when four of its bogies derailed near Makhdoom Pur Pahoran, Khanewal. The injured were immediately shifted to District Hospital Khanewal. Investigations have started to figure out the cause of the incident.
Traffic returned to normalcy after six hours of repair work.
