UAF to set up Rs three billion Entrepreneurship Centre

In order to overcome the problems of price hike in agricultural inputs and rapidly increasing cost of production, we have to shift our focus towards entrepreneurship in livestock and agricultural sectors so that the goal of poverty elevation may be achieved at grass root level.
This was stated by UAF Vice Chancellor, Professor Dr Iqrar Ahmad Khan at the inaugural ceremony of Marketing Festival organized by the Department of Business Management of the University on Saturday morning. Dr Iqrar said that UAF has submitted a project of Rs 3,000 million to US Aid for the establishment of Entrepreneurship Centre at Faculty of Agri. Economics and Rural Sociology to introduce innovative business approaches through products development.
